At 315Work Avenue, we’ve always believed that a workspace is more than just desks, chairs and meeting rooms—it’s a thriving community built on connection, collaboration and care. This belief extends far beyond the professionals who work with us every day; it embraces the people who matter most to them—their families. Staying true to this spirit, we hosted a delightful Kids Day Out event, transforming our workspace into a lively, colourful and laughter-filled haven for our youngest guests.
Children were invited to brighten up the dreary bleakest of midwinter by coming to express themselves, explore and participate in a vibrant and personal celebration. From the first opening of the doors, excitement was in the air as kids walked through with smiles, ready to experience a day tailored just for them.
Hand painting was one of the most exciting activities of all, where tiny artists had their little hands painted in different colours to create abstract designs on papers and canvas. The activity prompted them to unleash their imagination and let simple strokes become works of art from the heart. There was a moment of pure joy for their children, parents and our staff as they proudly displayed their artwork.
We found a life-size ludo game to add a bit of fun and teamwork references to playing board games. Kids hopped from square to square, rolling giant dice and rooting for their teams. The energy was infectious, turning the entire space into a buzzing playground of friendly competition, laughter and teamwork.
The celebrations continued with a lively dance session that had the kids grooving to upbeat tunes. Their enthusiasm was unmatched as they twirled, jumped and danced freely, their joy echoing through the halls. It was a reminder of how movement, music and play have the power to bring people together effortlessly.
The balloon artist was another crowd pleaser and absolutely killed it with his amazing creations. From magic creatures to quirky components, she made whimsical balloon designs that quickly became cherished keepsakes for the kiddos. And it was the awe on the faces of kids as each balloon inflated to fill out its shape that lent a sweet sentiment to the whole process.
Our space was a haven of comfort and warmth throughout the event—parents relaxed while escaping with their children to play without constraints. The environment perfectly reflected what 315Work Avenue stands for: inclusivity, togetherness and a genuine sense of community.
Kids Day Out was not just an event; it served to celebrate the bonds of all the families that make up the 315Work Avenue family. This experience also reminded us that behind every working person are the loving and supportive families that help make them successful. The inclusion of their children in our events serves as a recognition and celebration of the bonds that we have with our families.
