At 315 Work Avenue, we believe workspaces should provide more than just a location to hold meetings or meet deadlines. They should inspire creativity, foster community and allow for moments of enjoyment. Recently, we were able to create such an experience for a client by co-hosting a fun, meaningful Vision Board Session with a focus on their younger team members.
During the event, laptops were replaced by glue sticks, and screens were replaced by scissors, sketch pens and A3 sheets. What usually looks like a typical workday quickly becomes a creative playground filled with colour, conversation, and a little bit of delightful chaos.

Transforming Goals Into Creative Visuals
The basic premise of the session was to provide attendees with a blank canvas so that they could use their imaginations. The creative tools available for the event included tables covered in motivational imagery, magazines, bold typography cut-outs, and colourful markers. The attendees were then able to create visual representations of their dreams by cutting, pasting, doodling, and arranging elements that represent their aspirations.
Some of the attendees focused on their career goals; such as attaining a leadership position within their area of interest, developing their own business, or completing a project that has personal relevance. Some attendees focused on their personal goals; for example, travel destinations, wellness pursuits, or creative passions. Other boards were a hybrid of these two areas, indicating that professional success is often interrelated with personal aspirations.
As the room buzzed with energy, it became clear that this wasn’t just an art-and-craft activity. It was a pause. A moment to reflect. A reminder that behind every email signature is a person with goals, hopes, and a story still being written.

No Two Boards, No Two Journeys
One of the most striking parts of the session was the diversity of expression. No two vision boards looked alike and that was the magic of it.
Some were minimal and thoughtfully structured, with neatly aligned images and carefully chosen words. Others were bold and expressive, layered with colour, sketches, and spontaneous scribbles. Each canvas was deeply personal, a visual snapshot of ambition and individuality.
In a workplace environment where structure and routine dominate, this creative freedom felt liberating. It encouraged participants to step outside their usual roles and reconnect with what truly motivates them.

Beyond Creativity: Building Connection
While the glue and sketch pens were the stars of the show, the real impact of the session went beyond creativity. It created a connection.
Colleagues who typically interacted over project updates and deadlines found themselves sharing stories about long-term dreams, side passions, and life goals. Laughter echoed across the room as people compared cut-outs, borrowed ideas, and celebrated each other’s boards.
The informal setting made conversations easier, more authentic, and far more meaningful. It reminded everyone that workplace culture isn’t built only in boardrooms; it’s shaped in moments like these.

A Perfect Ending to a Productive Pause
As the final touches were added to the boards, the session wrapped up with chaat, relaxed conversations, and plenty of smiles. The atmosphere shifted from focused creativity to laid-back bonding, ending the day on a high note.
What made this event special wasn’t just the activity itself. It was the balance of creativity paired with connection, reflection blended with fun. It showed how thoughtfully curated experiences within a workspace can energize teams and strengthen relationships.
At 315 Work Avenue, we see our spaces as more than offices. They are ecosystems designed to foster collaboration, inspiration, and well-being. Hosting sessions like these reflects our commitment to creating environments where teams don’t just work; they thrive.

Why Experiences Like This Matter
In today’s fast-paced work culture, taking a creative break isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Activities like vision board sessions encourage mindfulness, goal clarity, and team bonding — all of which contribute to better engagement and morale.
By simply offering a blank canvas and the freedom to dream, we witnessed renewed enthusiasm and stronger connections within the team. And sometimes, that’s all it takes to turn an ordinary day into something memorable.
Because when people feel inspired and connected, productivity follows naturally.
And at 315 Work Avenue, that’s exactly the kind of energy we love to create.
