At 315Work Avenue, we think that the best work environments help people bond and share enjoyable moments. Seasonal celebrations are an excellent opportunity for employees to relax, meet new coworkers and share in activities that occur outside their typical workday. Therefore, we decided to host Mango Mania for Rocketium, a bright and fun way to celebrate the king of fruits and all of those summertime flavours!
Mango Mania was an experience that brought employees together in a light-hearted way through the medium of mangoes with delicious food, interactions with coworkers and even organised fun activities that turned a regular workday into a great day!
The most exciting part of the Mango Mania event was the Mango Tasting Workshop, where attendees had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on experience to learn about the flavour possibilities in different types of mangoes. Participants had the opportunity to taste multiple types of mangoes, all of which have their special flavour, aroma, texture and personality. Each mango has its own combination of sweetness and acidity; the Mango Tasting Workshop allowed everyone to taste each type of mango and then identify how the combination of sweetness and acidity makes them unique.
At the workshop, participants heard exciting details about mango varieties, including their origins, characteristics and what makes them special in nature. Everyone had a great time interacting through discussion about the different kinds of mangoes they liked and learning about their unique qualities. The session provided an opportunity to ask additional questions that would create interest and discussion about the topic. Overall, the workshop was educational and fun.
In addition to conducting the tasting portion of the event, a collection of drinks made from fresh mangoes complemented the event’s theme. Employees enjoyed refreshing juices made from this popular summertime fruit, which heightens the enjoyment of their celebration. The combination of fresh mangoes with these wonderful drinks provided a sensory and tasty reminder to employees that summer will be here soon!
Furthermore, the event allowed employees to get away from their desks, take a break from their everyday work and connect with co-workers in an informal and relaxed environment.
