At 315Work Avenue, every moment is an excuse to gather people together and this Friendship Day 2025, we did exactly that, just the 315 way! Rather than the swanky gala, we remembered the essence of what Friendship Day is all about laughter, memories, and the happiness of togetherness. The day’s theme was “Old-School Bollywood Vibes,” and the whole venue had that retro charm; so colourful, emotional and nostalgic.
The concept of the celebration was simple: to assist our clients in bonding and connecting beyond their workstations, to create conversations that extend beyond deadlines, and to restore the spirit of genuine friendships. The minute the guests arrived, they were greeted with old Bollywood tunes, vibrant decorations and a casual, joyful atmosphere that instantly put a smile on everyone’s faces.
One of the most exciting events of the celebration was the DIY gift-making session, an engaging and sentimental session that allowed all of the participants to unleash their creativity. Tables were loaded with vibrant craft materials, glitter, papers, ribbons and markers, waiting to be converted into mementoes of friendship. Some created personalized gifts for their daughters, while others created humorous keepsakes for their office friends. There was laughter, joking around and even some tears as individuals put genuine effort into their work. The most special thing about the activity was the freedom; no rules, no templates, just imagination and personal expression. It was the type of creative mess that sparks joy.
Once the DIY excitement ended, it was time to kick the energy up a gear with a classic never-fail game: Dumb Charades! The room rang out with hilarity as players enacted iconic Bollywood films, pretended to be renowned actors and even danced through song names. Teams cheered each other on, guessed wildly, and every now and then erupted into impromptu bursts of singing or dancing frenzy. The competitive nature was in good spirits, the acting was melodramatic (in the best sense of the word), and the excitement was contagious. It was the ideal flashback to the lighthearted playfulness of college life and childlike playdates, reminding everyone that sometimes the best stress reliever is a little bit of silliness.
And of course, no celebration of Friendship Day is complete without great food! We served everyone up a selection of tasty chaats- spicy, tangy, and completely irresistible. From crispy sev puri to creamy dahi puri, the chaat stand was the hip hangout joint of the day. Folks flocked around the chaat stand with plates in their hands, chatting, laughing, and reminiscing about their favourite memories as they savoured the ultimate crunch-to-flavour ratio.
The whole day was dedicated to celebrating friendships, but also community, which we here at 315Work Avenue highly regard. With the chaos of work life, it’s simple to forget the lighter side of things. Moments like these remind us to slow down, connect, and seek pleasure in doing so.
As the celebration drew to a close, one could spot smiles everywhere—the kind that stay even after the party is over.
