At 315Work Avenue, we always recognize that each organization thrives on many factors, not just professional accomplishments. It is the enjoyment we share, the tales we tell and the families we nurture together. That was made real during our most recent Kids Day Out, an event that truly melted our hearts as it celebrated the youngest members of our society and transformed our workplace into a joyful, colorful and laughter-filled wonderland.

A Day for Giggles, Games & Gigantic Ludo
From the time the first little feet stepped into our space, we could guess that this would not be a normal day. We had balloons, we heard laughter all around us, our distinct corporate atmosphere was taken over by the sense of childlike wonder that turned buzz into every corner.
Every element of the day was aimed at inspiring creativity and crafting enjoyable experiences for both children and their parents. Together, we started with hand painting, an age-old exercise that allows children to express themselves using colors and textures as well as a small amount of pleasant ‘mess.’ Children’s small fists eagerly dabbing paint onto paper transformed into astounding pieces of art, which we proudly hung on our walls.
But that was not the end of the excitement. The life-sized Ludo game emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the highlight of the day. There were no age restrictions when it came to participation; children were not the only ones excited, as adults also jumped into the action whilst moving and encouraging their little friends. The game not only retained its original value but, with the movable board, it morphed into a wonderful multi-generation family bonding experience.

Joyful Twirls, Balloons and Moments of Pure Bliss
The excitement in the room was palpable and it visibly increased throughout the day. With the music playing, it took no time at all for our young guests to flood the dance floor. Their unwavering enthusiasm, coupled with twirls and spins as well as ad hoc group dances, served as a powerful reminder of how uplifting bliss can be when children take the reins.
Among the guests was a skilled balloon maker who, without a doubt, garnered the most admiration. He made animals, fantastical beings and other whimsical creations in the form of swords and crowns using an endless supply of colourful balloons. Every piece he created was accompanied by gasps of delight and wonder, particularly the moments when he appeared to predict the wishes of the children even before they voiced them.

A Space Where Families Can Stay Together
It was nice to see how Kids Day Out aligned with our philosophy at 315Work Avenue, which is to make the community familial. It stands out when families are invited into the office space and participate in connecting moments beyond set timelines. Work becomes a supportive pillar towards holistic health.
Occupation and family require active participation from parents and guardians, but this event allowed them to let go and be present with their children in their workspace as they turned off all the world’s distractions. This was an opportunity for children to glimpse into their parents’ routines, discover new places and develop a sense of identity in an atmosphere that appears to be an adult domain.

More Than Just a Day Off, a Day of Belonging
While attending the event, one could find joy in the children’s smiles, the bonding between families and the authentic kindness that enveloped the space. This reminded me of how simple acts can lead to deep change. Initiatives such as these help in bringing barriers down, facilitate closeness, and humanize the workplace.
As of today, here in 315Work Avenue, we understand that a remarkable workspace goes beyond stunning office design and high-speed Internet. It is also about people, their employees and at times even their young children.
It is this family-first value that inspires us all to work together and enrich events such as the ‘Kids Day Out,’ where the core objective is to enhance bonding, share unforgettable moments and reinforce the family-inclusive culture that makes it so special.
Cheers to a multitude of vibrant, joyous and community-filled days that welcome parents, children and all visitors.
